One police officer fractured his hand and a female colleague was punched in the face during a spit filled attack in Lewisham.
Lewisham Police say a man decamped from a stolen moped before punching a female officer in the face and spitting at her colleagues last night.
The moped was recovered, and the man remains in custody.
Lewisham MPS Tweeted: "#VCTF officers injured last night in SE6 area after a male decamped from a stolen moped.
