PUPILS enjoyed going to school in traditional dress to celebrate their different cultures.
Around 330 pupils aged from six to 11 at Eglinton Primary School, Paget Rise, Woolwich, took part in the event.
They took part in a fashion parade as part of their Our World Week, which gave then the chance to learn about different countries to coincide with Black History Month.
Many wore clothes from their home countries such as Somalia, Turkey and India.
During the week there were quizzes and lessons about about countries such as South Africa, Australia and Holland.
Teacher Annette Whyte says they decided to hold the event because pupils at the school come from such a mix of backgrounds.
She said: "The children used their skills to learn about the world around us and how we all live on the same planet."
