Peak hour delays are expected to hit Southeastern trains this evening following a signal fault.

An issue between Victoria and Brixton is causing disruption between these stations. As a result, trains may be cancelled or diverted via Catford.

Southeastern's control room have been advised of a problem with a set of points, which allow trains to switch from one line to another, between Victoria and Brixton.

Network Rail response staff are on their way to investigate and fix the problem.

Once the line re-opens, trains will be able to run between London Victoria and Bromley South via Herne Hill. Some services may, however, continue to be diverted via Catford with some delays expected.

The line towards London remains open although some trains will be cancelled.
