Kent Police released CCTV images as they investigate an assault and robbery that took place in Dartford last month.

Police launched an investigation following the incident, which is believed to have taken place at Burroughs Drive just after midnight on the morning of Friday, April 5.

A man in his late teens, who was in his car at the time, reported being assaulted.

A spokesperson for Kent Police described what happened according to the victim of the assault.

"It is alleged that two men in a silver car followed him to the location before the incident took place.

"The victim suffered injuries to his head and face and told police his car window was smashed and his keys were stolen.

"The suspects drove away towards Dartford town centre."

Kent Police added that the man featured in the CCTV images released (pictured) could help them with their enquiries and urged anyone who might have information on the man or the incident itself to come forward.
