A man in his 20's was taken to hospital last night after a car crash in Woolwich.
Officers were called to Nightingale Place last night around 9.30pm to reports that a man had crashed into a lamppost.
Police, London Ambulance and the Fire Brigade all attended and the road was closed whilst the scene was dealt with.
Photos on social media seem to show the car on it's side and the Fire Brigade freeing the man.
The driver was taken to hospital as a precaution but there is nothing to suggest that he was badly injured.
No arrests have currently been made.
