A suspected brothel has been uncovered by police after a drugs raid in St Pauls Cray.

Police issued the warrant on the Crays Parade in Main Road on Friday (April 26) after receiving "intelligence of class A drug dealing".

An officer for Cray Valley East also told News Shopper a woman in her early 20s was arrested at the scene.

He said: "A female was arrested at the location upon suspicion of possession of Class A drugs and managing or assisting in the running of a brothel."

An investigation is ongoing regarding the woman and the location.

Police tweeted a video of the raid which appears to be near a newsagent.

It was a busy weekend for officers after a fight in St Mary Cray high street was reported the next day.

A man was arrested in connection with the disturbance and was subsequently wanted for past offences including two aggravated burglaries and a knife point robbery.

He was also on police's radar after failing to appear in court for possession of an offensive weapon and cannabis.

The suspect was nicked after a "short cycle chase".
