A woman has died in hospital after a house fire in north Woolwich.
Forty firefighters were called to a house on Sheldrake Close on April 25.
Most of the ground floor and half of the first floor were damaged by the fire.
A woman was rescued by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and was treated at the scene and taken to hospital where she sadly later died on April 26.
Two other people escaped the property before the Brigade arrived and were treated for smoke inhalation.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers took 14 calls to the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
