OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

JOHN MANGAN, 50, of Green Close, Benson, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver between May 24 and June 21 at Banbury. He was fined £500 and must pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

DAYL FLANAGAN, 28, of Longlands Road, Oxford, was convicted of using a vehicle without third party insurance and without a valid test certificate at Cowley Road, Oxford, on October 29. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for six months.

ROFIK ALI, 38, of Little Brewery Street, Oxford, admitted being in charge of a vehicle above the legal alcohol limit on March 10 at Cuddesdon Way, Oxford. Had 41 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £150 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with 10 penalty points.

SANDRA-MARIA NICULESCU, 26, of London Road, Headington, admitted drink-driving on March 9 at the Eastern Bypass road, Oxford. Had 94 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. She was made subject to a community order to include 120 hours of unpaid work and she must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 24 months.

JOHN SINCLAIR, 52, of Ock Street, Abingdon, admitted assaulting a police officer and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress on March 9 at Abingdon. He was made subject to a community order to include 120 hours of unpaid work and must pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

SHOFIK TOWNSEND, 42, of Blackbird Leys Road, Oxford, admitted burglary at Church Hill Road on March 24 and failing to comply with supervision requirements on release from prison. Jailed for 16 weeks and must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

STEVEN KENT, 21, of Ashdown Way, Grove, admitted assaulting a woman at Grove on February 24. He was jailed for 16 weeks suspended for 18 months and made subject to supervision requirements for 18 months to include participation in the Building Better Relationships programme for 30 days and rehabilitation activity requirement for 20 days. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £115 and court costs of £85.

REBECCA OSGERBY, 27, of Bluebell Way, Carterton, admitted driving above the legal limit for alcohol on December 14 at Brize Norton. Had 114 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. She was made subject to a community order to include 150 hours of unpaid work and she must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85 and she was disqualified from driving for 26 months.

STEVIE TIMPERLEY, 31, of Finchdale Close, Carterton, admitted stealing washing tablets and sweets to a value unknown from Co-Op, Witney on October 23 and bottles of gin from Waitrose, Witney on August 20 and failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. She was made subject to a community order to include drug rehabilitation requirement for 12 months and rehabilitation activity requirement for 20 days. She must also pay compensation totalling £40.

SARAH JANE GIBBS, 34, of Paradise Street, Oxford, admitted stealing two bottles of perfume worth £230 from John Lewis, Oxford, on August 11 and stealing four bottles of perfume from John Lewis, Oxford, on August 17. Conditionally discharged for 15 months, must pay a victim surcharge of £20.

BEAU HASELDEN, 22, of Loom Lane, Witney, admitted possessing cannabis with intent to supply in Wheatley on December 23. Community order made and he must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. Must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £250.

STEVEN HARVEY, 29, of Kynaston Road, Didcot, was convicted of travelling on the railway without having paid the fare in Oxford on September 13. Fined £220, must pay compensation of £4.40, a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £160.

NATASHA MORAIS, 37, of Underhill Circus, Oxford, was convicted of travelling on the railway without having paid the fare at Oxford on August 20. Fined £220, must pay £11.30 compensation, a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £160.

ALAN POWELL, 43, of Pinsley Road, Long Hanborough, admitted travelling on the railway without having paid the fare in Oxford on August 21. Fined £20, must pay compensation of £3 and court costs of £80.

CHRISTOPHER SIMMONDS, 53, of Luther Street, Oxford, was convicted of travelling on the railway without having paid the fare in Oxford on October 7. Fined £220, must pay £11.30 compensation, a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £160.

STEVE SLADE, 19, of Glyn Avenue, Didcot, was convicted of entering a train without having a valid ticket in Didcot Parkway on August 15. Fined £220, must pay compensation of £6.80, a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £160.

IBRAHIM ABU, 28, of Circus Street, Oxford, was convicted of travelling on the railway without having paid the fare in Culham on September 24. Fined £220, must pay compensation of £2.80, a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £160.

GIGI BULARCA, 24, of Priory Lane, Burford, was convicted of travelling on the railway without having paid the fare in Oxford on September 20. Fined £200, must pay £32.60 compensation, a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £160.

SCOTT HADLOW, 39, of Luther Street, Oxford, was convicted of travelling on the railway without having paid the fare in Oxford on September 21, 22, 24 and 26 and on October 4. Fined £100, must pay compensation of £15, a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £150.

SUSAN BERRY, 74, of Box Tree Lane, Postcombe, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver suspected of committing an offence between October 8 and November 5. Fined £660, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

PENELOPE ANNE MARTIN, 53, of Sinodun Road, Didcot, was convicted of speeding at 45mph in a 30mph zone in Main Street, Appleford, on August 17. Fined £100, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Three penalty points.
