Police in Dartford have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may have information about a noxious substance attack in Temple Hill in February.

In one of the pictures he is accompanied by another rider, also described as being a young man, who may also be able to assist with officers’ enquiries.

The assault took place in Keyes Road at 3.40pm on Sunday, February 3, where a liquid was thrown into a parked Ford Fiesta, causing injuries to the driver and his passenger, a 16-year-old boy, before it was then thrown at a man in his 30's who had got out of his vehicle after stopping in the road.

The three victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment and were later discharged. One of them is continuing to receive treatment for a facial injury.

Kirsty Baldock, 33, who lives close to the scene, saw the police arrive after the attack.

She said: "I saw all the police tape everywhere and had the police knocking on the door to see we'd seen anything, but I didn't.

"It's very scary and I have anxiety anyway, now it's gone into overdrive.

"It's been getting worse around here for a while and it's not the first time we've had police knocking on the door after 'an incident' right outside my house."

MP for Dartford Gareth Johnson has slammed the "evil" and "cowardly" assailants who carried the heinous attack, saying: "Assaults with noxious liquids are evil and anybody found to have carried out one can expect a lengthy sentence.

"Fortunately, this sort of incident is very rare in Dartford which makes it all the more shocking."

Numerous enquiries have taken place, including speaking with witnesses, gathering CCTV and checking traffic cameras.
