An educational company started in Woolwich has launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise £650,000.

Get My Grades is an online learning platform that provides local secondary school students with effective practice and experienced teachers.

The campaign, which launched last week is close to having raised half of their target in only five days.

The learning and revision EdTech company now wants to take the platform global after a spike in success.

Get My Grades was created by a former teacher, and was developed to give students the resources they need for revision, helping to raise academic standards and encourage independent learning. The platform can share immediate and holistic data on student progress to teachers, parents and even Education Ministers.

Launching in September of 2018, the programme will soon be available for UK schools on a subscription basis.

Money raised from the campaign will support the expansion of the company’s core team to help meet the commercial demand from global markets, including two contracts already signed with major partners in Africa and Middle East.
