RETIREMENT homes across Oxfordshire could be in line for a revamp after a housing provider appointed a new maintenance firm.
Anchor Housing, which runs homes for older people across various locations in the county, is working with ENGIE to deliver improvement works.
The ten-year £40 million deal will see work carried out including kitchen and bathroom replacements, electrical heating replacements, internal and external repairs – including roofs, pavements and car parking; as well as replacing windows and doors.
Work on planning which sites will benefit begins this month and ENGIE has pledged to minimise disruption.
