Police in Crofton Park have warned residents about a man in the area who is trying to sell security.
They also advised people to be wary of "distraction burglaries" in Crofton Park.
A Crofton Park Police statement read: "We’ve had reports of a man around Salehurst Road trying to sell security.
"The man is described as a white, mid-20s and slim build with brown wavy hair. If you’re not sure who is knocking at your door, please do not let them in or give them any personal details."

The statement added: "You can phone the company to check their ID, or phone a company that you trust but please be aware of 'distraction burglary', where people pretend to be someone they’re not to get access to your property.
"If you have any concerns or queries, please email CroftonPark.SNT@met.police.uk, or go online or phone 101.
It’s important for us to monitor incidents like this in case they are malicious."
