Engineers are to carry out emergency repair works on a burst water main which has closed off a main road in Lee.
Lane two of the A205 (Westhorne Avenue) is expected to be closed potentially until the end of the week after the road became flooded due to the damaged pipe.

When contacted for a comment, a spokesman for Thames Water said: "We’re sorry for any disruption caused by our work to fix a burst on an 18-inch diameter main.
"While no properties have had their supply affected, we have had to close one lane to allow this work to be carried out safely. At this stage we aim to finish the work within a week."
Any updates regarding the works will be included here in the future.
