A man has been arrested after a knife incident on a Lewisham train.
British Transport Police were called to Lewisham station last night (April 2) at around 8.30pm.
They were called after reports of an altercation involving an attempted robbery and a man in possession of a knife.
Officers were quickly on scene and detained a man.
During the arrest of the man, a taser had to be deployed.
He was then arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in addition to attempted robbery and has been taken to custody.
There are no reports of serious injury and this incident is not currently believed to be terror related.
