Police in Bexley are hunting for four people who fled after crashing their car during a police pursuit, leaving a nearby driver's car severely damaged.

Shortly before 6.45pm on Wednesday (March 27), officers requested a vehicle to stop in Percy Road near Bexleyheath railway station.

However the driver failed to do so, with officers then taking off in pursuit.

The driver then ploughed into another car outside the station before breaking down a short distance away.

Francesca Goff, 21, was driving the other car at the time and said the crash has left her car in need of serious repairs.

"I was actually picking my dad up from the station at the time.

"I was about a second away from pulling in and I saw the blue flashing lights in my mirror.

"As I was pulling over, this black Audi scraped past me and crashed into the bollard.
