"Handcuffs are kinky, spanking is fine, but keep the keys close, don’t call 999."
That's just one of many quirky quips the London Fire Brigade have Tweeted out to mark World Poetry Day.
The day itself was first celebrated in 1999 after UNESCO decided on March 21 as the perfect fit.
"Its purpose is to promote the reading, writing, publishing and teaching of poetry throughout the world and, as the original UNESCO declaration says, to "give fresh recognition and impetus to national, regional and international poetry movements."
But the above Tweet by the LFB wasn't the only one they came up with to celebrate the occasion.
"Be careful with straighteners if you use them a lot - they're handy indeed but get ever so hot."
"Unless you’re a superhero with tights and a cape you should have an alarm and plan your escape."
And with one lust hurrah, they even tried to top themselves with "if you live in a house, a flat or a barn, you will be much safer with a working smoke alarm."
