A tenth arrest has been made after a woman was burned to death in her Woolwich home.

Fire crews were called to Centurion Square at 1.20am on September 6 last year where 46-year-old Memunatu Warne was found dead.

A murder investigation was then launched after police concluding that the fire was suspicious.

Before today, nine people had been arrested and dealt with as follows:

  • A 21-year-old man; a 19-year-old man; a 28-year-old man; a 27-year-old man; a 26-year-old man and a 21-year-old man have all been charged with conspiracy to murder.
  • A 22-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman have been bailed pending further enquiries.

Now another 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

He has been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in late April.
