Multiple Kent Police vehicles were spotted at a suspected raid in Dartford this morning.

Two vans and a police car were seen near Keyes Road at around 8am.

A photo, which appeared on social media, attracted commenters who believe it may be a police raid.

A spokesman from Kent Police has since confirmed that officers had executed a warrant in St. Edmunds Road, which is next to Keyes Road, where officers and vehicles were pictured.

This morning's raid was part of an ongoing operation carried out by Kent Police since yesterday morning.

38 arrests have been made following 33 warrants, which have been executed across the county since 6am on Wednesday, March 20.

Numerous weapons were seized as a result of the warrant activity, including 11 knives, along with quantities of heroin and crack cocaine.

Speaking on the operation, Chief Constable of Kent Alan Pughsley said: "There is absolutely no place in Kent for knife crime or the culture around it.

"These warrants demonstrate we are taking a robust, proactive and zero-tolerance approach to people who choose to break the law and this will continue in the coming weeks."
