An accident on the M25 in Kent this morning has been cleared - but motorists could still be affected by delays.
A lorry and two cars collided with each other on the motorway clockwise from junction 2 A2 (Darenth Interchange) to junction 3 M20 (Swanley Interchange) this morning (March 12).
INRIX says all lanes have since reopened after traffic was held for several minutes from 7.55am, with emergency services attending to a car which “spun around” in lane four.
Highways England said lane four out of four was closed due to the collision where the vehicle was “facing the wrong way”.
An ambulance was on the scene while traffic officers were en route.
But Kent County Council's highways team has confirmed the accident has since been cleared, while delays potentially remain in the area.
