A Swanley drug dealer and his accomplice have been jailed after they targeted people with substance abuse problems.

Dogan Mustafa and Sean Crossin were arrested after Kent Police received information they were supplying drugs in the Chatham area in August 2018.

Maidstone Crown Court heard that on the morning of August 29, Crossin, of Abercorn Way in Southwark, was found inside a home in Chatham Grove, despite having no ties to the Medway towns.

Three packages were seized and forensic analysis later confirmed they contained 24 wraps of heroin.

A mobile phone was also seized and data from the device revealed Crossin and Mustafa, of London Road in Swanley, had been in communication with each other about supplying drugs – with Mustafa acting as a senior partner co-ordinating the supply.

n one text Crossin also told a friend, who had asked where he was, he was cuckooing the address.

Both pleaded guilty to their roles and were sentenced yesterday.

Mustafa, 21 was sentenced to four-and-a-half-years for conspiring to supply heroin, possessing heroin with intent to supply and acquiring criminal property.

Crossin, 23 was sentenced to three years and four months for conspiring to supply heroin.

Detective Constable Robin Hemsley, from Kent Police’s Operation Raptor team, said: ‘These offenders had no ties to the Medway towns but were determined to make as much money as possible from people suffering from substance abuse.

‘The irrefutable evidence we were able to seize left them with no choice but to plead guilty and I welcome the sentences that have been imposed.

‘There is no place for drug dealing in Medway and we will continue to act on information we receive to proactively target suspected drug dealers.’
