A 36-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of carrying a knife and stealing a car and bags of food.
Bromley police found a stolen Vauxhall Astra abandoned on Croydon Road on Friday and started to recover it from the roadside.
The stolen car was spotted driving around Bromley at around 6am that morning.

Two women, 36 and 28, approached the police officer who was recovering the car to say they had been driving it before it ran out of petrol.

A Bromley policeman told News Shopper: "The 36-year-old was found in possession of the key for the car then arrested for theft of the vehicle, possession of a knife that was found in the car, and theft of around two dozen food items found in the car."
The food items were mostly seafood and meat which had Marks and Spencer and Waitrose branding.
Police also arrested the 28-year-old woman for "allowing herself to be carried in a stolen vehicle".
Both women have been released under investigation.
