A Swanley mum says her daughter is ready to take the modelling world by storm after featuring for three major fashion labels at this year's London Fashion Week.

Molly Wilson, 5, recently walked the runway at a House of iKons event during the prestigious week-long fashion event for brands such as Athena Couture and Mode UK.

Speaking to News Shopper, Molly's mum, Jayne, said that she was caught the modelling bug after being scouted for New York Fashion Week last September.

"Last year, she got casted for a Jessica Ann's show as part of New York Fashion Week in the New Yorker Hotel.

"At first when she got on the catwalk, I could see she was a bit overwhelmed and starstruck.

"But after she started, she had a spring in her step and took to it like a duck to water

"She came back buzzing and made so many new friends," said Jayne

After returning home from her debut runway in New York, it wasn't long before she was scouted to appear at the House of iKons, strutting down the catwalk in a Unicorn-themed outfit as part of the portfolio.

"We had met so many people after the show in New York so it was through them that she got to be in London Fashion Week.

"Plus Molly loves unicorns, it's her favourite thing in the world so it was perfect," said Jayne.

Jayne said that it's been Molly's dream to get into performing when she's older and is currently studying performance art at the Hollywood Performing Arts school in Swanley.

"I am absolutely so proud of her, especially when she’s enjoying it so much.

"She's always been straightforward kid and everyone always says she’s so unique.

"She just want’s to be in Cbeebies," Jayne joked.

Molly is expected to continue her journey to stardom and has already auditioned for a short film in her local area.
