Authorities who responded to reports of a man hit by a train at Dartford station yesterday afternoon say they are treating the incident as "not suspicious".
A man in a wheelchair was trapped underneath a moving train after he rolled off the platform and onto the tracks.
British Transport Police say they were called at 4.14pm to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Paramedics and an air ambulance were also in attendance and a man in his 30's was taken to hospital.
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "The patient was conscious but was trapped underneath part of the train.
"He was a wheelchair user suffering from serious neck and leg pain.
"We worked with other emergency services and he was taken to Kings College Hospital by road."
Trains between London Bridge and Dartford were disrupted due to the incident.
