Nineties music fans will be delighted to hear Liverpudlian pop legends The Lightening Seeds will be headlining this year's Dartford Festival.
The council yesterday announced the first set of acts to appear at this year's free summer event, which include ABBA cover group Björn Again, another 90s Liverpool band The Farm and the energetic James Taylor Quartet.
Fresh from England’s World Cup run of 2018, The Lightening Seeds are 'coming home' this summer to headline the Main Stage.

The band had a number of top hits including Three Lions, which topped the UK charts in both 1996 and 1998 selling over a million copies.
One of Britain’s best known bands, fans can expect a high-energy performance with an air of joyous nostalgia to hum through the crowd.
Speaking in anticipation for this year's festival, council leader Jeremy Kite said: "The borough council’s festival has grown over the years and we’ve always strived to bring top quality live acts to Dartford and this year is no different.
"The Lightning Seeds and The Farm were the backdrop to a whole generation and groups like Björn Again and the James Taylor Quartet will ensure everyone has a great time.
"The event gets bigger and better each year, but it’s important that we never forget that first and foremost it’s a community festival and we’ll be presenting the best of Dartford’s local dance, music and drama groups to light up the Community Stage.

"We are reintroducing some of the firm family favourites from past festivals so the whole town can look forward to coming together to enjoy the show."
