A man has been arrested in connection with the sexual assaults on two 13-year-old girls travelling on buses.
Officers arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of sexual assault this morning (February 13) by the Roads and Transport Police Command fugitive unit.
The first girl, 13, was assaulted on the 126 bus towards Eltham at around 3pm on November 15.
Another victim, also 13, was targeted in a "prolonged sexual assault" an hour later on a 273 bus in Grove Park.
Detective Constable Darren Barlow said: "These were appalling sexual assaults in public on two young, vulnerable girls who were left shaken and distressed by the attacks.
The man has since be taken to a south London police station.
This follows a media appeal for information on the offences, committed against two 13-year-old girls on buses in south east London on 15 November 2018.
