There are severe delays to Southeastern trains this evening after a trespassing incident in Slade Green.

Services between Charlton and Dartford may be cancelled or delayed at late notice and disruption is meant to last until at least 7pm.

The incident happened this afternoon which meant the electric current to the track had to be switched off in the area.

Police have attended and safely removed the person from the line, allowing the electric current to the track to be turned back on.

However delays still remain and will continue into rush hour.

Trains may be subject to delays of 40 minutes so you are advised to take extra time getting home tonight.
