A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of carrying out an armed robbery at a shop in Swanley.
At around 7:30 pm on February 6, a person entered a newsagent on Heathwood Parade, London Road.
The suspect pointed a weapon at a member of staff and made demands for cash before assaulting the victim.
Police seized a suspected air gun at the scene and the 20-year-old was arrested in the Dartford area.
Officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and the victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries to his face and head.
The suspect remains in custody.
