It is feeling very cold today and there is a weather warning for incoming snow, but what can we expect in SE London this week?

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for 'heavy snow' in London over the next couple of days.

Meteorologists are warning this could affect public transport, making it very tricky to get into work.

According to the Met Office, the snow will come in overnight tomorrow and stick around until Wednesday afternoon.

A band of rain is due to push east across England on Tuesday evening and, meeting with cold air, is likely to turn to snow overnight.

Around 3cm could accumulate on lower-lying levels, with the possibility of 2in to 4in (5cm-10cm) falling on higher ground, forecasters said.

Forecaster Ellie Creed said: "It's a case of normal wintry hazards that we would expect snow, ice, frost are going to be quite prevalent over the next few days."

Here is a more detailed look.

All SE London areas can expect a large amount of rain tomorrow morning before it turns into heavy snow.

Bromley residents will certainly feel the cold tomorrow, it is predicted to be 2C cooler than the rest of SE London. Snow is predicted around lunchtime and will continue into the evening.

The Greenwich area is predicted to see snow at some point tomorrow afternoon and it will continue through the night. It is not predicted for Wednesday but it will be icy.

Lewisham residents are warned of dangerous icy conditions tomorrow evening, and the snow on top of this could make it very hazardous.

Bexley will also get snow tomorrow afternoon, and tomorrow night it is going to feel around -2C according to meteorologists.

Dartford is expected to get a heavy dusting of snow tomorrow afternoon. It is predicted that Dartford will get at least 3cm of snow.
