Two adults and two children have been taken to hospital following a car crash involving two cars in Petts Wood this morning.

Police, along with fire crews and paramedics, were called to Crescent Drive just after 8am following reports of the collision.

A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 8:03am today (January 22) to a road traffic collision on Crescent Drive, Orpington.

"We sent three ambulance crews and a single responder in a car to the scene.

"We treated two adults and two children at the scene and took them all to hospital."

Chesham Avenue has been taped off by police as officers remain on the scene with the two damaged vehicles.

One car involved in the incident crashed into a garden wall of a home at the junction between Chesham Avenue and Crescent Drive.

A Met spokeswoman has said that the injuries of those involved are not considered to be life-threatening or altering and that they are continuing with their enquiries.
