Police are currently investigating a series of burglaries across south east London.

A total of 12 burglaries at shops have been reporter and officers are treating them as linked.

Officers were called to Best One convenience store on December 18 after the owner heard someone attacking the shutters, the owner is reported to have chased them off 'holding a rolling pin'

The first incident happened in Nunhead at the beginning of December and the most recent was committed in Bromley.

A police spokesman said: "On each occasion, two or three suspects wearing facial coverings gained access to premises, causing damage, and stole property and cash."

No arrests have currently been made but investigations are ongoing.
