Police investigating a spate of burglaries in Dartford have issued images of suspected stolen goods recovered over the weekend.

Residents are being asked to check whether they recognise any of the items, which include valuable power tools, computer equipment and a distinctive hip flask.

The pictured items were recovered on Friday, January 4, after a suspicious vehicle was stopped by police in Green Street Green Road in connection with a number of recent break-ins to sheds and outbuildings.

Officers who searched the vehicle uncovered a silver coloured hip flask, a Toshiba laptop contained within a red Superdry case and a DeWalt circular saw.

A box of fishing equipment, as well as a disc wallet containing 16 computer games, a pair of binoculars and clothing were also seized.

Four men, who were in the car at the time, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and are currently on bail, pending further enquiries, until January 23.
