An elderly woman who opened the door to two men armed with knives was left with a bruised mouth and a cut to the face after being attacked and robbed.
Her partner, a man in his 80s, was also in their home in The Avenue, West Wickham, when it was targeted by two knifemen on January 3 at around 9pm.
A police spokesman said the suspects took a "quantity of cash" before fleeing the scene.
He added the woman in her 70s suffered a "minor injury to her face" and was treated at the scene.
No arrests have been made and police have been knocking on neighbours' doors looking for witnesses.
One neighbour told News Shopper: "The couple are still at home. The lady has a cut to her face and chin and her mouth is bruised.
"The husband wasn’t assaulted because she opened the door to them."
Police have asked anyone with information to call 101 quoting the reference 6672/03JAN.
