A train running between Orpington and Charing Cross was cancelled earlier while bemused passengers sat on board in Chislehurst.
This is because of a fault with the speedometer resulting in the driver trying to reboot the train.
Passengers were hit with a 3.1 per cent hike in train costs just days ago, which inspired protests across stations in London.
ALSO: Hundreds of trains will not run in south-east London this weekend
UPDATE: Unfortunately the train fault could not be fixed and we have had to cancel the service. Please listen to announcements at the station for next service towards London.

Speedometer now broken? What’s next? Zip on the drivers trousers?
