If you’ve been looking forward to waking up on Christmas morning to a magical blanket of snow, we’ve got bad news for you.
Metcheck forecasts predict a “0 percent chance of snow” in London and Kent on the big day.
The Met Office has forecast clear skies and mild temperatures across Bexley, Dartford, Gravesend, Lewisham and Greenwich on December 25.
In Dartford, Bexley and Gravesend, Christmas Day will be dry and bright, with intervals of sun and cloud and temperatures ranging between 5°C and 8 °C.
In Lewisham and Greenwich, spells of sunshine in the morning will give way to cloudy skies in the afternoon, with the mercury edging near double digits and hitting the 8 °C mark.
The weather website Accuweather also predicts fog in Lewisham on Christmas morning followed by low clouds in the afternoon.
On the upside, if you were planning to leave the house on Christmas Day, it looks like the weather won’t be too miserable.
