People trying to get home from Victoria station tonight could be in for some delays.
Just before 5.30pm, Southeastern Railway took to Twitter to say that a problem at the station was causing residual delays.
"Reports of a problem near London Victoria with a departing train from the platform," the tweet read.
"Investigations being made but some services may be affected in the area."
National Rail have also advised that they are currently unable to use a number of platforms at the station and that Staff are investigating the cause of this.
Trains that normally run between London Victoria and Orpington via Herne Hill have been suspended.
According to reports on Twitter the problem appears to be that the train lost power and the rail company have advised that more information would be made available when possible.
