Commuters returning to south-east London this evening are facing big delays.
Southeastern say this is because of a signalling failure near Lewisham.
Trains coming from central London are being held back while engineers investigate.
It is believed signalling points from Cannon Street is inoperative, meaning trains are being sent further on to Grove Park to cross.
This is causing congestion and train displacement.
A Southeastern statement read: "We are moving trains past the affected area as quick as we can, but with many outbound service at peak this may take time."
