Catford has become home to a new supermarket creating 27 jobs in the area.
The Sainsbury’s Local will open on Thursday (November 22) from 7am on Ardenmore Road, near Catford Station.
Sajid Hameed, the manager of the Catford store, said: "We are delighted to be opening a brand new Local store in Catford, providing residents with a convenient place to pick up their favourite grocery products at fantastic value.
"The new store looks fantastic and we have a great team of colleagues – many of whom are new to Sainsbury’s – who are really excited to welcome and serve customers."
The store covers an area of 2,900 sq ft. and will trade seven days a week from 7am–11pm.
