Penge is soon going to look a lot like Christmas.

The annual Pengemas will be held on the high street on December 8 where Santa Clause will pop by on a special visit.

He will be meeting and handing out toys to boys and girls from 1pm-3pm.

The choir will be singing our favourite carols and locals bands will be performing on the stage.

If you’re stuck for present ideas, copies of new children’s book, Lauren Koala, written by local author Glenn Lawrence, will be available on the Penge Food Hub stall.

To really get into the Christmas spirit Designer Drapes will be handing out mince pies and other goodies from their shop.

Other traders will also be selling Christmas gifts and the community event is running from 11.30am until 5pm on Penge High Street.
