Some of Bromley’s most vulnerable residents have been left "stranded" after their minibus was callously snatched.

Bromley Youth Trust own the minibus, which the charity hires out to non-profit organisations.

This includes Biggin Hill Community Care Association whose elderly residents have been left without transport since the theft.

Police are aware of the missing minibus which was stolen on Main Road in Biggin Hill between 1pm and 7pm on Wednesday (November 7).

Jonathan Hutton, who works for Bromley Youth Trust, told News Shopper: "We have left people stranded because we can’t give them a bus anymore.

"Youth groups and elderly people are struggling to find alternative transport.

"The likelihood is that we won't be able to replace it in terms of its quality and condition. When we got it, the mileage was low.

"If anyone spots the van please contact your local police station."
