Two people have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after 50-year-old man was killed.

Officers were called to Hampton Court Road on November 10 at 12.27am to reports a man had been hit by a car.

A 50-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene and it was thought that one person in the car had fled.

Later that day a 24-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

And then a 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, drink driving and possession of class B drugs.

Both have since been released under investigation.

Officers continue to work to establish the full circumstances of what happened.
