A police investigation is underway after a man checked himself into Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup with a knife injury this afternoon.
Police said they were called at approximately 4.20pm on November 8 to reports of a man going to hospital with a knife injury.
A Met Police spokesman said: “enquiries are underway to establish how and where the man, believed aged in his 30s, came to sustain his injuries.”
Reports of the incident first emerged on social media today at around 4.57pm.
One social media user reported seeing police cars and London Air Ambulance on the scene at approximately 4.30pm.
The man’s condition is not yet known.
