A family-owned food business in Keston has been named as the best rural food shop in the south east of England at a ceremony in Dorking.
Holywood Farm Shop will now go on to compete in the national final in February next year after its victory in the Rural Business Awards at Denbies Wine Estate on October 23.
Holly Hill, supervisor at Holwood Farm, said: "We are thrilled. We opened our shop because we are passionate about supporting local producers and we go out of our way to offer our customers the very best, from traditionally-reared meat to Wealden fruit and veg; from local beers to cakes baked especially for us."
The business is housed in a restored barn and is located on New Road Hill.
The Rural Business Award runs in partnership with Amazon and is currently in its fourth year.
