Emergency repairs have caused the partial closure of the Dartford Crossing.
As of this morning, the East Bore tunnel is completely closed and is expected to be for the remainder of the day.
The overnight repairs also saw the closure of the West Bore tunnel as well, but as of 8am, it has re-opened.
The Eastbore tunnel remains closed at #Dartford #DartfordCrossing #A282 #M25 to allow emergency repairs. It's expected to be throughout the day. The Westbore tunnel is OPEN however highsided vehicles are not able to travel through the West tunnel + should plan alternative routes. pic.twitter.com/1s75gyJbG5

Highways England have said that traffic is flowing in both directions but delays are expected on approach.
But it is bad news for highsided vehicles as they are not able to travel through the west tunnel either and are asked to look for alternative routes.
