Sarah Wellgreen, a mother of five, was reported missing on October 11 by her family and partner.

She has since had no contact with her family or the police.

Here is what we know so far:

- Sarah was last seen in the Baze Shaw area of New Ash Green, Kent on October 9. She has not been in contact with her family since.

- Was reported missing on October 11 by partner and family, according to Kent Police.

- Sarah’s son Lewis Burdett, 22, makes public appeal on Facebook to anyone who may have information regarding his mother’s disappearance.

 

- On October 16, a suspect (a man in his 30s) was arrested and later released on bail, pending further investigation, until November 16.

- Kent Police confirmed on October 24 that Sarah’s disappearance is now being treated as suspicious and could be a potential murder

 

- Kent Police then extended the search on October 26, employing the help of drones to help search drains as part of the investigation.

- Marine search unit officers began their search of the River Darent on October 27 in connection with her disappearance.

- As of Sunday, October 28, Kent Police and other volunteers have combed through over 10 locations in their search for Sarah Wellgreen. These include Dartford, New Ash Green, Eynsford and Longfield.

- According to Kent Police, investigators are continuing their search for Sarah within the five-mile radius from Baze Shaw, where she was last seen. The marine search unit are continuing their exploration of the River Darent and further drone units will be deployed today to aid officers in their search.

 

- Speaking on the case, Detective Superintendent Paul Fotheringham has said that although Sarah has disappeared without a trace, they are currently searching for a lead in the form of her black IPhone 4, the only thing missing from her home.

"We are investigating the disappearance of Sarah. It is entirely out of character for her to go missing and having conducted extensive enquiries and searches, this case is now being treated as a potential murder”, said Det Supt Fotheringham.

- Det Supt Fotheringham has also asked for “residents, businesses and landowners” based in areas surrounding New Ash Green to check their outhouses and the areas around their properties.
