Dartford’s new clubbing hot spot will open this weekend and there will be an all-star line up to welcome party-goers.

ATIK, which is taking over from Air & Breathe, has had a £750,000 makeover and will be opening on October 26.

Music producer and DJ Marvin Humes has been confirmed as the headline act in the main ATIK room on the opening night.

The following evening, Kiss FM presenters Rickie and Melvin will be taking to the decks in the main room, with reformed 90s pop sensation S Club 3 performing in disco room Vinyl.

The investment by the UK’s largest late night club and bar operator, The Deltic Group, has created 30 additional jobs at the Essex Road venue.

The night spot will change dramatically from a two room venue to three distinct rooms and there will be everything from party classics, glitters balls, DJs and VIP booths, so there really is something for everyone.

Future guests also include rapper and singer Tinchy Stryder who will perform at a special Halloween event on October 31 and talented hip-hop and house DJ Nathan Dawe will be a guest on November 9.

ATIK Dartford general manager Jordan Craine said: “We are delighted to confirm the line-up for the launch weekend. The excitement is building and we’re really looking forward to some great acts that we have lined up for the opening weekend and forthcoming weeks.

“We’re sure they’ll all be a huge hit with our customers and will bring a party vibe to ATIK. We strive to host some of the best nights out in the area with great service, entertainment and live performances from well-loved acts which all help to create a night out to remember for our customers."
