Scotland Yard and the London Fire Brigade are investigating, after a blaze ripped through a recycling yard in Greenwich at the weekend.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a recycling yard on Penhall Road, Charlton on October 21.
The Brigade was called at 1.35am and the fire was under control by 2.27am. Fire crews from East Greenwich, Greenwich, and Plumstead fire stations attended the scene.
Two diggers were destroyed by the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
