A Catford man described by Scotland Yard as a “violent prolific burglar who victimised residents” has been convicted of fifteen crimes last week.

Adam Yaro, 32, of Catford Hill, stole Rolex watches, pearls, diamonds, gold and silver jewellery, computer tablets and mobile phones, cameras and a car, from residents in Kent and south London according to the Met Police.

Appearing at Woolwich Crown Court last Monday (October 15), he pleaded guilty on all counts, including burglaries, theft of motor vehicle, driving disqualified, thefts, robbery, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of cannabis.

He was arrested by officers from Croydon Crime Squad at Catford Hill on May 2 and was remanded in custody to appear at Woolwich Crown Court.

He is remanded in custody to appear for sentencing on Friday, October 26 at Woolwich Crown Court.
