It's time to clean out the closet and bring out the gold jackets because Merton is about to turn back time

That's because Merton Arts Space will be hosting electro duo, Spray on Monday, October 22.

Performing live, Spray are inviting fans of 80s pop, 90s dance and techno to come and party among the book shelves.

The venue which opened in 2016, has hosted scores of theatre productions, live music events, and arts workshops for local residents. It recently hosted free theatre events for over 700 local school children.

Spray will be visiting Wimbledon as part of their tour, and promise to bring “shimmery synthpop.”

The brother and sister team, who have been creating music together for over a decade, said: “We’re very excited by this as it’s our first date as Spray in London and the first time we’ve played live in the capital since 2000, when we were behind Peel legends the Cuban Boys.”

“We’re also very excited by the idea of playing the show in the Merton Arts Space in Wimbledon, it’s an experience we’re looking forward to!”

Spray will be joined by DJ Venice Hopper who will play a set of tunes inspired by the late John Peel.
