Commuters could endure a long journey home this evening after a train broke down in Sundridge Park after hitting an object.
Southeastern say workers are currently trying to rescue the train which has suspended services between Bromley North and Grove Park.
The train company has warned that delays and cancellations are expected until at least 6.15pm.
Passengers leaving work are being encouraged to use their train tickets on local buses.
