Staff at a newsagents in Chelsfield have been threatened by men armed with a baseball bat.

Police said the men wore balaclavas and tracksuits and stormed McColl's in Windsor Drive just after 5pm on Friday (October 5).

They said it was unclear whether cash was taken but they believe suspects threatened staff before fleeing.

An employee at the shop told News Shopper staff members were now fine but wished not to add further comment.

Police were again called to the shop this morning (October 8) just before 7.30am to a man "acting suspiciously".

A Met spokesman said officers attended but were informed that nothing was taken.
